The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Mission Statement fulfills President Lincoln’s promise “To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan” by serving and honoring the men and women who are America’s veterans. One of the VA’s specific missions is Veterans Health Care, and the VA’s Veterans Health Administration is the largest integrated health care network in the United States, with 1,255 health care facilities serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year. AESY, through its partners, supports the VA’s mission by designing, installing, configuring and maintaining wireless networks in VA Medical Centers and other VA facilities. AESY offers 802.11 a/b/g/n/ax solutions in the broadband spectrums 2.4GHZ and 5.0Ghz frequencies. The VA WiFi location-based infrastructure offers the VA secure, wireless communications for a broad range of data and telecommunications needs including video, voice, data, and Real-Time Location Services (RTLS). The wireless communications network will also support a wide range of mission applications for the VA including asset tracking, radio frequency identification (RFID) and barcode medical applications.
