Karyn is a Vice President of Contracts for the Intelligence, Systems Engineering, Security, Services and Solutions (IS4) Strategic Business Unit for the Management Services Group of AECOM. Her role includes contract oversight for programs across a diverse array of locations, primarily supporting Navy customers. Prior to her current assignment, Karyn was Contracts Director for the Sustainment, Engineering, & Acquisition (SEA) Sector and the Spectrum & Information Assurance (SIA) Sector and the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Sector of IS4.
Karyn has more than 23 years of demonstrated experience in Federal contract/subcontract management and administration. She is responsible for managing all contractual matters involving relationships, contractual agreements, and obligations, ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, terms, and conditions. Prior to joining URS Federal Services, Karyn was Subcontracts Manager for L-3 Unidyne. As the Subcontracts Manager, Karyn was responsible for placing procurements and managing high dollar subcontracts in support of Department of Defense (DoD)/ Government contracts as well as developing, implementing, administering, and certifying policies and procedures to conform to: (i) the ethical, social, and business policies and standards of L-3; and (ii) the approval criteria of U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) guidelines as they pertain to Contractors Purchasing Systems Reviews. Subsequent to her employment at L-3 Unidyne, Karyn acted as the Contracts & Accounting Manager and Small Business Liaison Officer at Q.E.D. Systems, Inc.
Karyn holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from George Mason University.
